What Makes Freedom Wealth Different?

Freedom Wealth Alliance is not your ordinary advisory firm. Established in 2014, we left a large, national broker-dealer to create our own Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm because were were tired of limited products and corporate agendas. Since then, we’ve focused on establishing ourselves as a unique firm where advisors can worry less about marketing, operations, portfolio management, managing staff, or day-to-day operations, and more on what they do best: helping their clients.

1. Our Committees

We have multiple, voluntary committees within our firm that are designed to boost business development, technology, marketing, advisor best practices, compliance, and operations. During these meetings, the committee members generate ideas, develop action items, and establish best practices and standard operating procedures to build efficiencies within our firm and for our personnel. Everyone who wants a voice gets an opportunity to use it effectively. We work together as a team to bring new ideas to the table on a regular basis.

2. Weekly Team Meetings

We believe in collaboration, so we have weekly team meetings where every committee chair reports on their progress. During these meetings, the investment committee reports on the state of the markets, portfolios, and geo-political factors, while advisors discuss upcoming client and prospect situations as well as investor sentiment. Our Chief Compliance Officer reports on any upcoming requirements while operations reports on new assets, processes, and procedures. It’s a collaborative meeting that products a connection within the team so that we can be more aware, effective, and productive working together.

3. Affiliation Options

We’ve worked hard to develop several affiliation options that work in the best interests of all parties. Currently, we have a very unique option where advisors can affiliate with us and purchase assets from us to increase their assets under management by up to $30 million. We can even finance their purchase, and they can take as long as they need to pay off the purchase price with the revenue generated by the increased assets under management. We think this offers advisors an excellent opportunity to bring their clients over and increase their AUM by another $30 million with no out of pocket costs.

4. Advanced Technology

We pride ourselves on the advanced technology we use to benefit our advisors. We have invested in the best tools to do our jobs effectively from anywhere in the world. Additionally, we’ve spent the time learning the tools inside and out so we can use them effectively and help our advisors do the same.

5. Multi-Clearing Opportunities

As a multi-clearing firm, advisors can affiliate with us and clear through Schwab or LPL Financial. We are currently considering a new relationship with TD Ameritrade as well, depending on an advisor’s preference. With potentially three options, it makes for a smoother transition for advisors and their clients when moving over to our firm.

6. Quality Personnel

We believe it’s important to enjoy who you work with, which is why we’ve taken the time to build a team that is experienced, friendly, and client-centered. When an advisor affiliates with us, they receive a dedicated administrative staff member to complete all of their paperwork to onboard their clients. After the transition, we have two full-time and two backup administrative staff members to assist with day-to-day operations. In some cases, we can even hire the advisor’s current assistant.

7. Independent, But Not Alone

As a cohesive and self-motivated group, we enjoy corporate wellness challenges each year, along with group volunteer events with local and national charities and team building events. We enjoy fun group challenges and activities that promote a healthy work-life balance. We find advisors enjoy these as it offers them a chance to feel part of a team while still being able to run their business the way they want and work independently with their clients.
